ThelonesomeKid was formed in May 2014 after Patches and Gretchen founder Gretchen Seichrist decided to reinvent the group.  Gretchen Seichrist, Christopher Thompson and Jules Daud form ThelonesomeKid.  Their debut album , iamthelonesomeKid released in December 2014 has received critical praise from National music critics and recently awarded 4 stars from Chicago's Sound Opinions host,  Jim DeRogatis.
